Alitalia only gets a fair grade for reward availability. While I was able to find premium reward seats, most were from New York and Chicago. The west coast was a blank on my searches. They also provide connectivity to cities like Florence and Naples from Rome so when traveling to Italy the home team carrier might be a good choice. The product looks inviting and the food looks, well!!! Alitalia also recently joined into a partnership with Etihad Airways and their Guest rewards program, opening up more options for flying Alitalia.
Alitalia Premium Class
Alitalia's business class experience is named Magnifica and it gets great reviews. Their Solstys by Stelia seats are private, spacious and configured in a 1x2x1 layout which gives all passengers aisle access. And Alitalia's food regularly wins the Global Traveler Award for Best Cuisine.
