Delta A220-100 First Class DTW-JFK
My first ride on the new A220. The verdict is?
This positioning flight was to catch the 3rd A350 flight ot Europe before the pandemic hit. I specifically chose to connect in Detoit to take this plane. A risky proposition in winter but it worked out.

The front cabin has a 2x2 design in first class. Nice new seat was very comfortable.
Oversize windows which is the new normal.
Good size lavatory for what is essentialy a regional jet.
Today’s meal in first class. Although I don’t necessarily agree with the miles statement.
Very nice IFE system on these new jets.
Perfectly fine 83 minute flight on this new Delta A220 jet.
